NodeAlert at a glance
- Who it is for
- XDC masternode and standby-node owners and Plugin node operators.
- The problem it solves
- A node that falls behind, misses rounds or runs outdated software loses rewards quietly, and you usually notice too late.
What it does
- Uptime and block-lag checks against the public network
- Signing activity, missed rounds and penalty-list checks
- Upgrade readiness: your client version against the latest XDC release
- Alerts only on a change of status, with a resolved alert on recovery
- Read-only: never asks for keys
How it works
- NodeAlert reads public XDC data and, where you provide it, your node's own RPC or health URL.
- It checks uptime and block lag, signing activity and missed rounds, the penalty list and your client version against the latest XDC release.
- You get an alert only when a status changes, and a resolved alert when it recovers.
- For feed users: alerts when a Plugin feed you depend on goes stale, starts reverting or changes owner.
- XDPoS 2.0 Quorum Certificate (QC) & Multi-region RPC probes: inspects
gapBlock,epoch,qcRound, andmasternodeSignerCount(≥ 73/108 2/3+1 vote threshold) alongside 4-region RPC latency and finality probes (EU West,eu-central,us-east,ap-southeast) exposed via/nodewatch/status.jsonand/v1/rpc-watch.
